Marston's uses iTradeNetwork technology to power new beer home delivery website

Stokenchurch, UK. 13th September 2010.

Marston’s are launching a new consumer website based on iTradeNetwork’s industry leading e-commerce platform. The new website, www.classicales.co.uk, which launches this month, allows beer lovers to order classic beers, including Marston’s revolutionary Minicasks, online and have them delivered to their home.

Well-known in the pub sector for providing online ordering services for licensees, including the Marstons’ tenanted estate, this is the first time iTradeNetwork technology has been used as the basis for a consumer-facing site.

Alex Walters, iTradeNetwork’s UK Sales Director, comments, “We were very excited when Marston’s approached us to develop their new consumer site. It was a great opportunity to demonstrate the versatility of our technology. Our system is designed so that a client’s own branding can be quickly and easily applied to produce a unique and distinctive trading website, rich in functionality – whether consumer-facing or business-to-business focussed.”

Stephen Oliver, Managing Director of Marston’s Beer Company is delighted with the results:

“Having worked with ITradeNetwork to provide online ordering to our tenanted business, we were confident their system offered the functionality we needed and could be delivered quickly. The whole project was completed in just six weeks and we now have a fantastic looking site which offers a great new service to beer lovers across the UK.”
